Overview
Varn were looking to create a wall mural on a feature wall at their offices in Bradford-on-Avon. They wanted to include illustrations which were personal to them and their working history. For instance, their healthy obsession of Lego, their love of owls and key achievements such as jointly holding the World Record for the largest paper bag with one of their clients.
Challenge
The biggest challenge of the project was fitting all of the illustrations on to the proposed wall. We refined the list with the client to capture all of the most important features. The wall was situated on a set of stairs, so Jenny had to balance at times on a ladder which made the work a little more precarious. Some of the illustrations were fairly demanding such as the bike and Varn logo, but Jenny’s steady hand and artistic skills made it possible!
Outcomes
Varn are really proud of their new feature wall, and clients never seem to fail to comment as they walk past on their way to meetings. We’re really pleased with how this project turned out too, and look forward to creating more of these for clients in the future.
